That's kind of pitiful - $15k (I assume not including glider) for such a 
pathetically limited EV.  

Regrettably Argentina is a benighted nation.  IIRC a year or two ago they 
reduced their punitive vehicle tax (I think 55%) to something like 5% on 
EVs, but I don't get the impression that many importers are taking advantage 
of that.  

If the Argentinean government really wanted EVs, they could have lots of 
choices of more or less functional production EVs under $15k from various 
Chinese manufacturers.  Heck, the Chinese-made Renault K-ZE sells for around 
$9500 in China, would probably go for (guessing) $12k in Argentina, and it 
has 190km of range.  No 8-month conversion project required, either.
