That is certainly the big question. There are some caveats.

1. I own the old van and the body and front interior is in good shape (small dents but no rust, etc.). 2. Modern cars have complicated computers to integrate with - see -Phil-'s email about conversions. 3. It's not easy to find something with enough ground clearance and no between-seat console.

I have looked and may look some more. I may just wait for a production vehicle that will do what I need.

Just saying, if you are going to spend tens of thousands of dollars
converting a mini van to an EV, why not spend a little more and find a more
modern one at an auction or something?
