5-0 in favor. Sounds like this will stick around across administrations. That's a great plus for the future of EV owners.

Next up: I hope we will see legislation to prevent EV manufacturers from disabling or crippling car functionality, excluding features which they charge extra for up front. We need this protection in combo with right to repair. If you repair a Tesla battery, they can block you from L3 charging. (In this case, I understand their liability, but there needs to be a reasonable middle ground.)
