Risks get managed. Some get managed better than others. Batteries have their own risks, too, as does any other energy storage mechanism.
Umm… here’s the problem. Having a 5,000 PSI hydrogen storage tank sitting under your hood is like having 50 pounds of tannerite sitting in your trunk at all times. If you get into an accident and that hydrogen tank is damaged, the results will be catastrophic to say the least.
