I still have my hopes on Telo. Last I read, they are on track for
shipping production models late this year (like december).
It has the mid gate. So, with the mid gate down, which includes the back
seats, it has an 8' bed. And that's with the tailgate up. With the mid
gate up, it will seat 5.
Also, they will have a camper shell. With the shell, it's almost a
minivan. The only significant difference is the dual rear hatch instead
of a single overhead hatch.
I think I read it will have 11" ground clearance.
Not as cheap as what ford is promising, but better and I still think it
has a competitive price for trucks in general: around $45k.

The Ford EV pickup sounds promising, but it looks like the usual "car disguised as a
pickup", i.e. a crew cab with a short bed.
I like small pickups! I have a 2010 Chevy Colorado small pickup (the size of
the earlier Chevy S10). It's a single cab and has a 6' bed which fits my
slide-in camper. I'll be sad when it wears out because it can't be replaced
with anything they're making today.
