My friend and long time DEVC contributor passed away a couple years ago and
left some older EVs in his backyard that his wife and daughter want to sell
off. They’ve been sitting since the 80s so only looking for a few hundred
bucks each in Colorado Springs CO. I’ve used showroom transports before that
can forklift on a flatbed but you might want to remove the dead lead batteries
first if shipping is cheaper.
There’s an original blue Sebring Vanguard City Car inside a shed. There’s an
Electra Van from the 80s and a Hornet that’s been sitting outside. There’s also
a 73’ VW Thing converted by Marathon with a 87’ tag (last time it ran) under

Just got back from the Pikes Peak race where Romain Dumas won in the electric
Mache 8 min 18 sec but didn’t beat his worlds record of 7 min 57 sec 2018 in
the VW IDR. I used to always help report with Dave McNeil DEVC and miss him.
