Some of the EVs you list might bring a decent return.
There's been a resurgence of interest in C-cars in recent years. It may have
helped when the youtube personality Simone Giertz bought one ("Cheese
Louise") around 10 years ago. It depends on condition of course. Running
well and cosmetically nice can go for $5k or more.
The VW Thing is definitely a collector's car. Again depending on condition
someone may want it to deconvert it back into a ICEV. I have no idea of the
value.
Is the Hornet one of Bob Aronson's EFP conversions?
Generic home conversions unfortunately aren't much valued, unfortunately.
In 2020, I sold our 1991 Ford Escort wagon conversion, along with a set of
used NiFe batteries for it. It had some minor mechanical problems (iffy
brakes, slushbox shifter stuck in Park) and was in fair shape cosmetically.
It had been mostly garaged, had no rust. Batteries were out and needed an
electrolyte change, so the buyer wasn't able to drive it home. I was asking
$600. I let it go for a little over $250. YMMV.
