At UPEI’s Robertson Library we are experiencing difficulties batch ingesting MARC records into Evergreen 3.8. The process for ingesting is very slow and some records fail to properly import. According to Equinox tech support, the problem in part appears to be a new feature in 3.8 that cannot be decoupled from the ingestion process (the “Did you mean” feature). Has anyone in the community developed scripts or other methods for successfully ingesting large batches of records without overburdening Evergreen? Do you know of developers that might help create something if something doesn't already exist? Thanks for your time and consideration.
