It is likely the same bug, as the fixing commit never made it to the mesa 9.2 branch and thus not into the evergreen mesa package. Backporting the patches to 9.2 should do the trick, but especially with nouveau, it is always better to use newer mesa version, as many bugs get fixed. Do you really need to use evergreen on systems with nouveau/nvidia?
