As I have shared before I had the privilege to participate in and facilitate Open Space Technology meetings for 20 years by now. 10 years after my first encounter with OST and many OSTs later - I went to the US and took the Genuine Contact Program, Train the Trainer. One of the Modules was Working with Open Space Technology - the one we’re offering in September.

But during this advanced facilitation module I didn't only learn how to facilitate an OST meeting and reflected its principles - I learned to support my sponsors in a much more robust way than I had ever learned before. Now I was equipped to apply holistic tools for planning and follow-up work that enriched my practice. And I got introduced to the concept of givens and why they are so important to be identified with a sponsor beforehand to successfully build on the OST results. The different Genuine Contact tools have enabled me to be more than an OST facilitator. They transformed my work and I became a successful consultant, who supports her clients to harvest the learnings from an OST meeting and helps them to implement a culture of leadership and collaboration - also on days when there is no OST. Why am I sharing all of this with you? Because I want you to know that this training is beneficial for beginners as well as seasoned consultants and OST facilitators.
