Salaams everyone, Susanna here from Malaysia. I am co-facilitating a 3-day global convening in Thailand next month of about 110 grantee partners of a US-based funding agency that supports LGBTIQ activism globally.
There are participants coming from different parts of Latin America, Asia, Africa and Europe, and while English will be the primary language, there will be booth & whispered translations into multiple languages. My co-facilitators and I think that Open Space will provide the choice-laden, passion-driven space needed for the diverse conversations, collaboration and community building that the organisers seek. We are still in conversations about the process design of the whole event, but I am imagining at least 1.5 days being spent in open space in the final two days. While I think we will Open Space in English, I am keen to develop posters of the OST Principles and Law in Spanish, French and if available in Thai ( as there will be approximately 12 participants from Thailand). *Could someone guide me to link where the principles and law in French and Spanish (and Thai?) are available?* Thanks very much!
