Harrison Gifted storyteller Openes huge spaces For me and thousands Thanks I bumped into open space in 1998 by meeting Ingrid Olausson, a Swedish writer and journalist. I hired her for two large open spaces and then organised a training for me and seven colleagues in house in the large public organisation where I worked. Thank you Ingrid.
I quickly took on the role of in-house facilitator until the space was closed down in the organization by a radical change in leadership. So I quit and started my own company in October 1999. I thought I had a great network and something wonderful to offer the world. Who is Thomas? What the heck is Open Space Technology? Yes, it was not so easy the first couple of years. Since then I've been opening space all over and sharing this gift to thousands of people in Scandinavia and elsewhere. I am convinced that holding space skillfully in circle, contributes to a better world every time. I am blessed to do this work and to share it with many others.
