I have toyed with the idea, not only for ourselves, but for the Islamists, especially, the idea, or proof of a virtual existence-resurrection, and such. If we can present this as doable it has benefits, for us and them. It could end some of the violence.
They are still mired in a religious dream, as indeed is most of America (I mean the dreams known as nationalism and capitalism in the latter case). The truly enlightened (in a scientific or a Buddhist sense) should have escaped that, and be able to do better.
