Much less insulting your potential detractors before you even present your argument. This list is full of very smart people, can't we do better? Two people are homosexuals, they love each other and want to make sure, for example, that they are allowed to be treated as family if one falls into a serious illness. Isn't it "anti-human" to deny them this, for the simple reasons that they happen to have a trait that is completely out of their control?
