:-) Two reasons. First, JC has admitted he was wrong in the past (though not on the basis of logic but of erroneous understanding IIRC). Second, I thought it was a cool thought experiment and I was interested in seeing it play out and put JC in the position of either acknowledging that there were in fact 1p views, post-duplication, worth talking about (in contrast to his step 3 objections to Bruno), or saying increasingly absurd things.
