The entropy of the battery operating the LASER has increased, the entropy
of the oxygen gas has increased, and the entropy of the carbon atoms has
increased. Entropy is not a conserved physical property and neither is
information. Entropy doesn't need a source, it can be created from
nothing, but once created Entropy can't be destroyed, even a Black Hole
can't destroy it. A Black Hole has an astronomical number of nterior of
microstates but just 3 numbers are enough to perfectly describe its
external macrostate, if you know the Black Holes's mass spin and electrical
charge you know all the is to know about it.

The oxygen, the diamond, and the battery powering the LASER are a closed
system, and every one of those components has increased in entropy and
thus the entire system has too, and that's exactly what the second law of
thermodynamics
says it should do.
