Some matter can still exist, but is useless as it cannot be linked to any first person experience. You remember that here I compare “matter” with invisible horse still driving the cars. Anyone can always add stuff like that, but in science, we dismiss such hypothesis as spurious. Not only it cannot be tested, but it makes the theory incomprehensible (what would be the role of thermodynamics for someone who insist that the car would not function without those invisible horses?).
