That is a very complex question and when I “found Quantum mechanics” before realising that the physicist were already there, I was sure that mechanism allows far too much computational continuations, leading to an explosion of “white rabbits” prediction, and I thought that I would have been able to prove that such mess does not allow Turing universality, so that I thought simply that I was refuting Mechanism. But I did not succeed, and then QM appears to look like Mechanism predicts physics has to be. Now, why is physics Turing universal is not yet entirely explained, but there is no inconsistency on the horizon, especially that the quantum appears in the first person plural. It is an illusion, but it is sharable among different branches of the differentiating consciousness flux.
