You are right, the illusion is not about the experience of an outcome, but on the idea that the outcome is singular. It is exactly like in the WM-duplication. The guy in M believes that the result of his experience is the definite singular M outcome, but we know better (and him too, if he knows the protocol of the experience and bet on mechanism).
