Kindly, Serge [Philip Benjamin] There are obviously “rational” persons, never needing obscenities or peremptory ad hominems (provoked ones are sometimes excusable) which is very much unlike the patented behavior of WAMP-the-Ingrate -- Western Acade-Media Pagan(ism). There are only two kinds of PERSONS. They are not Liberal/Progressive or Conservative/Traditionalists. Rather they have Awakened (Augustinian) Transformed consciousness or they have Un-awakened, kundalini/reptilian consciousness. One category is pagan and the other non-pagan. Augustine was once a profligate Phoenician pagan (of Greco-Roman roots). According to his CONFESSIONS (autobiography) he was transformed (“accidentally”) by the Scriptures through the Spirit [of Adonai (plural) YHWH (singular) Elohim (uni-plural)] into a non-pagan. That helped him to baptize metaphorical Platonism into Scriptural norms and thus pull the West away from Greco-Roman paganism. He thus became the chief architect (and still remains so) of a civilization that pursued REALITIES, not metaphysical metaphors, which eventually created an atmosphere conducive to modern science and technology, not vice versa. WAMP-the-Ingrate is the beneficiary of that. While there are no (and cannot be) cultural pagans (only REAL pagans), there are cultural non-pagans who for all practical purposes are Augustinian in their thought forms and behavioral patterns, but not NECESSARILY transformed in the Augustinian sense. The clash today in the Augustinian West in general and the Puritan America in particular is between paganism and non-paganism (real and cultural), not Liberals vs Conservative nor Progressive Vs Traditionalists (which are only manifestations or reflections of paganism and non-paganism.
