The first amendment is routinely violated on campus, and against the US Bill of Rights. If you like I can take up some time at some near future date to supply you with news headlines of how this is happening all the time and it's happened all over academia for the last several years.

And I must say that mentioning the Bill of rights does not make one patriotic anymore than carrying the American flag does, especially if, on orders of the current fascist president, you use the flagpole to beat a policeman to death with it so you can invade the nation's capital building while they're counting the votes to determine who the next president will be.
