I seem to get your point. This is what i have understood from your mail ,
please correct me if i am wrong. You mean to say that instead of having a
generic library for all OCR applications, we need to have a library
specifically for Evince. The library need not have to be from the scratch
but we could choose an existing library that is suitable and compatible with
Evince and then build and integrate on it. If thats what you mean, i am
willing to take that up.
