Some of the features you seem to be interested in might already exist in one way or another. 'How to achieve X?' questions are support requests and it is best to discuss them first with other users and developers on the users mailing list. If you have questions about specific parts of the source code base and hack on code, evolution-hackers@ is a possible venue.
