Hmm, true, that makes things rather harder... why people can't just use Page Down I'll never know :o) Perhaps, then, the attachment widget shouldn't respond to Space to activate it at all[1], but pressing Shift-F10 when it's focused should post its menu... its current visual design doesn't really suggest that functionality though, so it would probably need a bit of tweaking somehow.
