I do not see the point for 'many users would use it'. From my
understanding a Mail program should be able to display the email as
plain text ( != source ). When that is done HTML rendering is an
optional feature.

Why do I need this patch ?

I use evolution over really slow dial-up lines with IMAP. I want to see
the ascii email only, no pictures, no attachments, just the information.
