We're just going to use HEAD for the GNOME2 port. And what NotZed means
is that we will probably have last-minute bugs to fix after a 1.2.0
release (we did with 1.0) and so therefor won't necessarily both
branching immediately to start on a GNOME2 port (since we won't be
working on it anyway).
