Perhaps the mbox contains lots of deleted messages (if you don't use Empty Trash or Expunge on a regular basis, deleted messages are not physically removed). Also, Evo uses signed 32-bit integers for internal file indexing, even on a 64-bit machine, so it has problems with any file of over 2GB in size. (In practice the only files that big are going to be mboxes.) Note this is independent of the maximum file size supported on your system. The only fix is to split the file into smaller chunks, e.g. using formail or even a text editor. poc _______________________________________________ evolution-list mailing list [email protected] To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
