I edited the above files and now the usb.ve address can send (I'm using it to post this), so I'll provisionally consider that problem fixed. Nevertheless there should be more flexibility on the UI to indicate when a mail domain is hosted by one of the well-known services (Yahoo is another one). I'll post that on BZ as an RFE.
