The problem is that I checked the outbox of all configured accounts but it's not there.

Hi, all the messages prepared for send are stored in On This Computer/Outbox Delete the message there, eventually also expunge the folder (Ctrl+E), to delete the message from the disk too. That should make it away the error when you press Send/Receive.
