I just restarted my flatpak build of Evolution 3.40.3 (flatpak git59a14d5) on Linux Mint 19.3.
It comes up and throws a message about messages being unavailable in offline mode. No indication that anything was still running. Is there a flatpak version of the evolution --force-shutdown ?
