Amen Brother and Hallelujah! Dumbing down the interface to satisfy the novice, while sacrificing advanced functionality and flexibility for everyone else is *exactly* what's *wrong* with Windows. If Gnome (and by extension, Evolution) continues to follow the same path, it won't be any more appealing than Windows/Outlook (or KDE/Kmail for that matter). Please, evolution developers, don't follow this path. It leads to darkness...
