[Evolution] POP3 issue

I am trying to use Evolution to access a number of pop accounts that I also access from other systems and mail readers. So, I do not let Evolution delete the messages after they are downloaded from the server. I have directed Eudora to delete them after 7 days.

The problem is that Evolution keeps downloading messages that it has already seen. This is not the case for Eudora, Kmail, or outlook. Is there a setting that I am missing?
