Exact same system here, Calender works. Big difference is that I use Red
Carpet to keep these installed and to do upgrades. There was a minor
update to Evolution not so long ago that turned up via Red Carpet.

Yes get the same on my red carpet delivered Evolution, once I save and
close it is not saving the web address. I have no friends with websites
so this wasn't flagged earlier by me. adding the contact information and
web address and then selecting the button to open web address before
save and close functions correctly, after save and close web address is
no longer listed upon opening contact.

Did not manage to duplicate this. But you have done way more customizing
than me in this aspect.

Using 1.3.92-0.ximian.7.3 here, as you can see I am not as many glitches
as you have, although my contact list does not seem as large as yours..

Did you try downloading via Red Carpet?
