Yep, actually Mandrake 9.1. You are right, with the distro I got very
recent packages and even devel packages, if I want. That's the easy way
for me and compiling benefits of that. ;-)
Isn't it likely, that it should be possible, as you just compiled recent
gtk+ stuff? I can be wrong, though...
Dial up line? As you are located in the Netherlands and geeky and brave
enough to compile, I always assumed you were blessed with a cable
modem...
