No, but this is a completely separate issue from what the other guy was
talking about. And yes, this would be a bug. It is already known,
however, so don't bother submitting a new report to bugzilla.

And I think there are even earlier reports of it (in fact, I'd be
surprised if there weren't). I know people complain to me about it all
the time at Ximian, I just can't seem to make it work.

I've been telling people with this problem to press the Stop button in
the toolbar (don't use the Cancel buttons in the Send&Receive dialog,
they don't work as well), it should force the operation to cancel. Just
make sure you don't hit the Send&Receive cancel(-all) buttons first, or
the Stop button won't work either.
