Well, AFAIK there is currently a packaging issue with one of the
supported platforms. 1.4.5 will be released, when this issue is fixed.

Dunno, but is should be about the same as 1.4.4 version. From my local
copy, Mandrake 9.1:

That's about 16 MByte. But as you are still running 1.0.8 and didn't
note your Distro, you may need a lot more to get that Gnome 2 app
running...
