yep, i have the same problem... i want to use Evolution as a replacment to outlook. I *can't* do this unless i can change the views...
Dan Winship (thanks for feedback) thinks that it's impossible.. surely there will be an option in the final release to change the views?? also another thing that isn't a problem but would be an added feature would be to allow the auto checking of names to search the LDAP direcory. In outlook, i can type in a name and have it auto fill in from multiple sources. if LDAP was able to be searched similarly from evo this would be legendary feature.. then we could *blow* away outlook2k and use evolution.
