Why use fetchmail, if you use Evolution? You can run a POP server and an IMAP server at the same time. I do. I read the mail at work, thru the home firewall, via IMAP, in Windows. When I get home, I use Evo to POP the messages into local folders there. Granted, this means I can't read old, archived mail while away from home, but if I did want that, I'd use IMAP from both locations. > What I've done so far is compile and install courier-imap.
