IMO, the "Identity" and "Associated Mailing List" properties should
simply be optional.  If they exist for a particular folder, then they
are used when composing a reply.  If they don't exist, simply fall back
to the default behavior of looking at the To: and From: headers.  Am I
missing something, or does this address your concern?
