Hi, I'm living same experience described in a recent message: http://lists.ximian.com/archives/public/evolution/2002-December/024094.html
in a few words: after ten days since my last reboot I had to do it again. After reboot, Evolution can't start anymore, causing - "wombat application (process 5787) has crashed due to a non-recoverable error [close]" - then, the same massge for other 2 times - finally: can't initizalize Ximian Evolution Shell: configuration database not found (sorry, message could not appears exatcly as I wrote, my system is running in italian language and I am re-translating in english again) I've read the message quote above, and I've tried >killev >wombat and I get: wombat-Message: Starting wombat Wombat up and running so the workaround described in: http://lists.ximian.com/archives/public/evolution/2002-December/024097.html it's not useful for what I'm experiencing. Other infos: I'm running Evo since 2 months on this machine (anche since 1 year on other's), I've updated it to 1.2.1 the same day it was published, and after that it was working without any problem for all this time, after reboots too. In the last days I've installed lot of software so I can't understand if this problem is due to a conflict (file/configuration) with another package installed: the only deep modify to the system related in some way to Evolution was the trying to install gdkxft libraries to get antialias fonts: I've installed version 1.4, and after restarting X everything crashed. So I simply removed it (rpm -e) and X was back again. And Evolution too, untile last reboot. Last: I'm running KDE/RedHat8 _______________________________________________ evolution maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/evolution
