Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 6+ months Rate: Open Required: . Minimum of 4 years of experience with the Oracle plus (1) year of experience with Oracle RAC and DataGuard . Demonstrable skills with Oracle DB software including: (Database Server 10g/11g, Real Application Servers (RAC), DataGuard, and Recovery Manager (RMAN) . Ability to install, configure, patch, and support Oracle DB Server on Windows and Unix/Linux/AIX platforms . Ability to author code in SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting languages . Experience with mid-size to large Oracle databases (100GB to 1TB) . Considerable knowledge of the analysis process and project management skills . Ability to plan and coordinate the work of others and maintain effective working relationships . Excellent effective communication (both oral and written) Preferred: . Skills with Microsoft SQL Server including Windows Clustering and DB replication .
