Location: Little Rock, AR Duration: 6+ months Rate: $50/hr C2C Duties will include: .Support multiple Oracle databases and ensure their performance, availability, and security .Responsibilities include setup, implementation, and maintenance of relational database management systems and associated applications that support mission-critical resources for day-to-day operations .Backup all databases and critical software homes on regular basis .Monitoring and tuning databases to ensure optimal performance as well as ensuring the security, integrity, and recovery of data .Initial installation, upgrades, and patches to the test and production Banner ERP eco-systems and other applications, to include Oracle-based technologies, such as database and application servers, as well as other business, reporting, and learning applications .Installing, configuring, upgrading, optimizing, and maintaining Oracle-based technologies, including, but not limited to Oracle Databases, Oracle Grid, Forms and Reports, and Oracle Application Servers .Coordinating all ERP and related system management in cooperation with Programmers, Banner Support Specialists, Network Team, and Banner Techs. .Providing leadership and project management for all Banner and Oracle upgrades, including all 3rd party systems that integrate with Banner .Provide and maintain Banner test environments including clones as needed .Maintain documentation for all installations and upgrades including all steps taken and issues resolved .Maintain documentation for Banner user processes such as Password resets and changes, Job Submission, Banner Extracts, and any other processes that require DBA intervention Skills Needed: Clone and maintain test database(s) Required 5 Years Create and maintain detailed documentation Required 5 Years Customer service oriented; Diplomatic and tactful Required 5 Years Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Required 5 Years Ellucian Banner - all Modules; DegreeWorks, eLearning, FGAC, Workflow Required 2 Years Evisions - Intellechek, Argos, FormFusion Required 2 Years Oracle Enterprise Database; Forms, Reports and Discoverer; Grid Control; RMAN; Web Tier; WebLogic Required 5 Years P/L SQL Required 5 Years Redhat Enterprise Linux; Windows Server Required 3 Years Code promotion from test to production Highly desired EMC Document Imaging System Highly desired Familiarity with Cobol, C, PERL, and Java; Linux CUPS Printing; Linux Shell Scripting Highly desired Thanks Sandeep Sandeep Jain Software People Inc. www.softwarepeople.us [email protected] Ph: 631-863-0299, 631-410-4741, 631-921-2111 C Fax: 631-574-3122 Certifications: SBA 8a/SDB, NJ MWBE, NY MWBE, VA SWaM, DE OMWBE, MA MWBE -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Exact Match" group.
