*SAP BW Business Objects Data Services (BODS) Developer * Expert developer using SAP Business Objects Data Services. Must have a good understanding of the entire SAP BW environment. Develops highly efficient extracts and communication layers for integration. Works well in a team environment and contributes by sharing ideas and knowledge with the rest of the team. · Responsible for developing high performance data extracts · In some cases interfaces with the business to understand their integration needs (B2B) · Documents processes · Supports production jobs · Determines the processes to provide the business what they are needing · Load Legacy data into BW · Use SAP Business Objects Data Services Designer to extract, transform and load master data and transactional data · Deliver data mappings from source(s) to target(s). Write SQL functions and procedures for complex transformations using data workflows, embedded data flows, multi source, multi format data flows. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, or engineering or Bachelor degree with work experience within the Business Intelligence domain, specifically in BW · Minimum of 7 years experience in ETL Processes · Minimum of 5 years of hands on experience with SAP Business Object Data Services (BODS) · Minimum of 2 years of experience in SAP outside of the BW Space (other modules) · Experience with Business Object Platform 4.0 · Understanding of servers, networking, security, monitoring (Solution Manager, etc) · Excellent written and verbal communications – Highly Critical (Will be interfacing with the business daily) · Strong analytical skills solving problems outside the norm challenges · 3+ years experience with multi-dimensional data marts or data warehouses (OLAP) · 3+ years of experience with Oracle Databases · 5+ years of experience with DBMS · Very good knowledge of OLTP and OLAP models · Experience with BODS admin console, designer, job and server manager tools is required · Experience with complex transforms, multi source data flows, data workflows, parameterized data flows, embedded data flows is required · Nice to Have: · Experience in Aerospace and Defense Industry · Good exposure to full EIM Suite of products (Data Integrator, Data Quality, Information Steward, and Meta-Data Manager) is preferred * * Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
