Location: Columbia, SC Duration: 6+ months Rate: Open Skills Needed: - At least 8 years experience in Information Technology. - MCITP Certification (Enterprise Administrator) required, or five years equivalent experience. - Proven experience resolving problems in enterprise environments with Active Directory infrastructure issues - Creating architectural documentation for AD infrastructure improvements based on industry best practices. - Up to date expert level knowledge on various Microsoft Administration products lines - HANDS ON experience analyzing, designing, DOCUMENTING, and deploying large scale AD environments - Group Policies - Experience using Microsoft products for centralized management of logging, policy changes, and software deployments - Advanced in Windows Server 2012, Active Directory administration - Technical knowledge of network and server operating systems - Knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including TCP/IP, and DNS, DHCP. - Experience in developing and maintaining documentation for policies, procedures, and best practices. - Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills a must. - Able to conduct research into infrastructure issues and products as required. - Leading effective team meetings - Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language. - Highly self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. - Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Experienced hardware troubleshooting. - Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment. - Strong customer service orientation. - Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Skills Preferred - VMware Esx 3.x - Current industry certifications for Microsoft, Security, VMware, - BA, PM, QA certifications & experience - Expertise in AD security and overall windows best practices as it relates to IT security.
