Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 4+ months Rate: Open Skills Needed: . Define source-to-target mappings for loading operational system data into the data warehouse; . Define data extraction and load processing; . Create Business Objects Universe; . Work with business analysts and/or IT/business stakeholders to determine appropriate filtering, formatting and layout of the reports; . Design, develop and deploy reports based on defined business requirements; . Develop the base queries and stored procedures required for report data; . Write and execute unit test plans for testing; . Write and execute system test plans; . Create and execute release plans; . Significant experience working in the information technology area, with a minimum of seven (7) years' experience working in a data warehousing/ETL/database development environment . Developing reports using programming languages such as SQL, SAS, SASDI, VB Scripting; . Using hardware such as e25K (UNIX), M5K (UNIX); . Using operating systems such as MVS, UNIX (Solaris), Windows NT, an application package such as Business Objects, and Utilities/Command Languages such as UNIX and UNIX Shell Scripting; . Minimum seven (7) years experience deploying Report Builder solutions for ad-hoc report development; . Very strong experience developing base queries and stored procedures required for reports; . Advanced knowledge of SQL and experienced in SQL query tuning; . Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; . Ability to follow directions and work either independently or as a team; . Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred: . Experience complying with DHHS System Development Life Cycle methodology .
