Dear Friends,

At the outset, I would like to introduce myself as a reader of your group
mails.

I do not have knowledge in Excel VBA Codes. However, after started reading
certain mails of your group, I gradually improved my interest in Excel VBA
Codes.

I am just a learner of any interested subjects. Though I am 40+, I am not
declining my interest at all in subjects like Word, Excel-Macros, PP,
Access, Photoshop, etc. From this group also, I have unlimited subjects and
topics to study and improve my knowledge.

Now, I request VBA Codes for the attached excel file.

*Sub : Sorting and Numbering through Macros*

Column A to V – Details.
Column D will have PAN say AAAPA0000A
Column F will have Payment Date say 30-Jun-12 (Any date from 01-Apr-12 to
30-Jun-2012)

Please see the Sheet 1 and Resulting Sheet. I need Result as given in
Resulting Sheet.

That is, by using Macros,

- the records in Sheet1 should get SORTED based on the PAN (Column D) and
it should place the details from Column B4.

- Column A4 should start with Sl. No.1, 2, 3……….. for each (Same) PAN.

By this, I am able to know the last Sl. No. and accordingly, generate the
number of Certificates for the PAN Holders. (For one PAN Holder, one
certificate only will be issued, though he may have N number of records).

If anybody has better option for such requirement, please suggest.

With Regards,
DK.
