Thanks for all the answers on my last post regarding 2003 SMTP queues new question for the gurus
I have a FE/BE configuration. I am running group shield 6 on the back end (and have had issues so far and their tech support leaves something to be desired.) Our licensing allows us to use Web Shield as well, which I am less than crazy about It creates its own SMTP server and mail gets scanned and can then be forwarded to teh FE server on another port. I don't like this because I have sender, connection filtering set up on my FE and dont want to scan the tons of useless spam that will be dropped anyway. Does anyone know of any antivirus that intergrates with the FE server? I believe the new API for exchange 2003 allows for this. I just havent found any software yet.
