Our Exchange 2000 server here at work tends to throw this error every couple of weeks. Apparently when the log volume gets filled up to capicity, the error will get thrown and hang the server. The way to recover from the error is to delete all the log files and clean it out.
The error also happens whenever you attempt to backup the database. I am running Arcserve, and the error gets thrown whenever we attempted to back up the exchange databases. As I'm sure most of you can tell, I'm an Exchange newbie. I'm administering it for the first time. I'd appreciate any advice on how to better manage the server, and I'd appreciate any tips on the error I'm getting.
