If you are doing a proper online backup of exchange, the log files should be
cleared by the backup program.

Are you using the exchange agent to back up the store, doing offline
backups, or brick level (Mailbox level)

Your logging drive really shouldn't fill up, unless it can't hold a days
worth of transactions and you aren't backing up exchange properly.
