Probably not much help this....

I use Exch 5.5 on NT and don't as a rule use the Exchange Administrator to
set Send on behalf privileges for secretaries for their bosses as I've
I've never found it works reliably.

I always ensure that the boss sets the appropriate author privilege on his
mailbox in the Outlook delegates option tab and sets the appropriate
reviewer for all on his mailbox folder in the folder list view in order to
ensure that the secretary can have access to his mailbox folders in
Outlooks list folder view.

The secretary automatically receives send on behalf of rights by receiving
the delegate privilege. She can then either type up an email and send it
herself upon being checked or she can drag it to the bosses mailbox for
him to check/amend and send.

I just wish that all emails that were sent from a boss went into his sent
items rather than the sent items of whoever created it initially (unless
they created it as a reply and had the option to save in the same folder
enabled).

We always print off the sent version for the file and sometime it's a pain
to locate it.
